"Putting “first things first” is a hallmark of Maricel and Anthony’s way of marriage. They aim high, fall short, suffer, get back up again, and aim high. Real loving is like running a marathon: it takes grit and requires integrity, courage, and a willingness to suffer. There is no other way."
George William Blake
"I strongly recommend this book to those who are contemplating marriage, to newlyweds, to those who have successfully sustained their marriage, as well as those who failed but still believe in the gift of marriage. It contains not only gems of advice, but also anecdotes of love and forgiveness, laughter and tears, blessings and sacrifices that make this story real."
Dr. Grace Koo
"Read the book and be inspired by their openness, and willingness to learn from others, even from their own children. The heart of their relationship is love for God and family. Through the highs and lows the past thirty years, they have seen that truly love never fails."
Coney Reyes
“When we come together,

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Anthony and Maricel Pangilinan have been married for three decades. They have five children: Ella, Donny, Hannah, Benj, and Solana.
Writing and speaking have always been a passion for Anthony as he shifted from his architectural background to management training and motivational speaking upon graduating from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. Maricel, early on in marriage, challenged Anthony to apply relevant leadership and management principles and practices from the workplace to their own home.
The couple organized three Philippine Parenting Conventions in the early 2000s. Both have seventeen 42.2km marathons between them and several Ironman triathlon experiences. Four of their five kids were active Ironkids competitors throughout their childhood.
